Gaya Nadarajan has won a finalist place in the Google - Anita Borg
Scholarships in 2008 and 2009, two years running.
Google Europe Anita Borg Award encourages women completing degrees in
computer science and related fields to excel in computing and
technology and become active role models and leaders in the field.
Gaya is currently studying towards a PhD, working on devising a
Semantics-Based Workflow Composition System for Video Processing. She is investigating methods to model generic vision tasks
and to provide an automatic mechanism to allow users without image
processing expertise to perform complex vision tasks.
