Writeup
Your writeup must address the following points:
- Methods
- Advertisement - What did you tell people before they agreed to be part of your study? Did you target a specific group of people through advertising. For example, "We sent an email to my Swing Dance group to get volunteers. The email list has approximately 70 people on it and 5 replied."
- Participants - Who did you invite to the study and why did you pick these people? Do not include their names. Focus on what kind of users they are and what part of your demographic do they represent.
- Protocol - Clearly describe the script in words. It should be clear what happened during the session(s) from the time the participant arrived to when the session was over. Explain any choices you made.
- Protocol - What tasks did you have the participant do and why did you pick those tasks?
- Data - Basic facts about the study, how many participants, how long did the session(s) last, how did you record information, were you able to get through the full protocol you had prepared etc...
- Analysis - How did you analyze the data?
- Results
- Summarize the outcomes of the data analysis.
- Appendix
- Script you used.
- Any materials you used or showed to the participants.
