Meet as a group and decide how to divide up the research. You should
all read some papers, and some of you may choose to read several. How
you divide the work is up to the group.
Your seminar should address the following:
Note that in some cases this may require a little detective
work......
Some suggestions on this:
- as said above, see what various textbooks say
- look at what the authors of the classic system did more
recently (e.g. what did Bev Woolf do after menotutor?)
- see who cited the classic work and whether what they did builds
on it
- look at the topic and issues addressed and search on them
(following Steamer, who else developed configurable interfaces for
industrial process?)
- search for systems with similar names (e.g. logo - starlogo)
You should work on the presentation together and decide how you will
present this to the whole group. You will have a slot of 20 minutes to
do so. You may decide that all students will not present, give the
short time and the group size. However all students should contribute
to the work for the presentation and content.
