- Abstract:
-
We present the Interaction Frames and Framing Architecture (InFFrA) as a novel, abstract social reasoning architecture for classifying interaction situations into so-called frames and learning appropriate use of them in a given multiagent system. Taking the sociological concepts of "frames" and "framing" for strategic interaction management as a foundation, we develop an abstract architecture that aids the analysis and design of such methods. To illustrate the "software engineering" aspects of the architecture, we apply it to the analysis and improvement of an existing technique (called AdHoc) for adaptive opponent classification in multiagent games.
