What is special about the Edinburgh degree programme

Edinburgh is a particularly appropriate location to study this combination of subjects. It was one of the first places in the world where Computer Science was researched and taught, and has been a world-leading centre for the subject ever since. The School of Management at the University of Edinburgh is one of the pioneers of management education in Britain with the first BCom degree being awarded in 1920.

Scotland, especially the central area, is a favoured location for many national and international IT companies. Edinburgh is extremely reputable among these companies and many of them sponsor work placements for our students, with offers of employment upon graduation.
