Informatics Fourth Year Honours Course Guide
Disabled Students

We welcome disabled students (including those with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia) and are working to make all our courses accessible. If you wish to talk to a member of academic staff about the course requirements and your particular needs please contact the Informatics Teaching Office.

You can also contact the Student Disability Service, found on the 3rd floor of the Main Library on George Square (phone number 0131 650 6828) to talk to an Advisor. The Advisor can discuss possible adjustments and specific examination arrangements with you, assist you with an application for Disabled Students' Allowance, and give you information about available technology and personal assistance such as note takers, proof readers or dyslexia tutors. They will also explain what evidence needs to be presented to them, and may be able to do some tests themselves. They will then prepare a Learning Profile for your School which outlines recommended adjustments. This ``Adjustment Schedule'' will be sent to the UG4 Year Organiser, and the teaching-staff on your enrolled courses.

This page is an update (Sept 2012) to the "Old-style webpages" version of the ug4 Course Guide, for consistency. --Mary Cryan
