Software Testing

This is the home page for the School of Informatics course "ST: Software Testing", given by Stuart Anderson in January-March 2012.

Overview

Descriptor: The course descriptor provides an overview of course content, learning outcomes and administration.
Time Table 2011-2012:
Course meetings are at 1210 on Tuesdays in Appleton Tower LT3 and Fridays in Old College LT 270.

Resources: The resources page comprises slidesets, videos, question sheets and some useful papers. This is still in construction but much material is already there. You may want to consult the web pages for the previous two years of the course since the material will be very similar.

Coursework: There is a single coursework worth 25% of the overall assessment for the course. You will work in groups of 4 or 5 people. The deadline for the practical is Thursday 8 March at 1600. You can find the specification of the practical here. Revised groups will be announced shortly.

STwiki: We will use the Software Testing Wiki for group communication.

Examinations: You will find past exam papers useful. This year there will be one difference over past years, the paper will be open book so you can take any additional sources of information you require into the examination hall.
