Software Engineering with Objects and Components

Welcome to the home page of the course on Software Engineering with Objects and Components (SEOC). Here you will find all the information you need about the course.

News:

  1. The first SEOC lecture will be at 16.10 on Tuesday 16th September 2014 in room G16, Medical School Teviot.
  2. There is a SEOC mailing list. If you are registered for this course, you will be on the list. You must, and will be assumed to, read your university email regularly (at least every other day). You may mail to this list - in fact, I encourage you to do so. In the unlikely event that we have too much discussion on this list, we'll find another solution.
  3. Tutorials begin in week 3 and finish in week 10. All tutorials take place in Appleton Tower. See above for groups and how tutorials work.
  4. We won't use every lecture slot: see schedule for latest plan.
  5. Thanks for doing the preassessment - here are some notes.
  6. More room changes! Today (26/9/14) the lecture is in AT LT2. Thereafter, all lectures are in 7 George Square F.21.
  7. Updated "More on patterns" slides to capture more of what was said in the lecture. NB online, not physical, lecture on Friday 24/10/14.
  8. 10/11/14 Updated Feedback to you page again with information about the impact of the UCU assessment and marking boycott.
