Introduction to Vision and Robotics (Distance Learning, INFD11006)

Introduction to Vision and Robotics (Distance Learning, INFD11006) shares the same course content as Introduction to Vision and Robotics (Resident Students, INFR09019). Click here for the combined course page.

This additional information might be helpful for the distance students.

We will use the Collaborate tool for communication during the weekly class time Question and Answer sessions. Details on when these Q&A sessions will occur will be added soon. Here are Instructions on Using the Collaborate Tool.

Distance education students will use QuestionMark Perception (QMP) to take their exam on the same day as the local students. QMP is a web-browser based exam tool, and there will be a remote invigilation/proctoring facility. You will need to have a reliable and fast internet connection for 2+ hours to take the 2 hour exam. You can download a PDF rendering of a sample exam paper from a different course. The online version will look similar. More details of the examination procedure will be added nearer the date of the exam (which is likely to be either December or late April/early May).

Here is a FAQ for the distance aspects of the IVR course.
