Information theory assessed assignment

Here are the questions and associated materials for the OLD 2013 Informatics Information Theory course assignment.

Assignment Questions (PDF)
thesis.txt — ASCII text file containing only a-z and space.
received.dat — received packets (bytes) from digital fountain.
received.txt — same bytes but decimal values of bytes in text format.
packets.txt — row n lists which source packets/bytes were combined to make received byte n.
