Focus Group
You must conduct one focus group which has at least three students who are part of your target demographic and are not members of your own group. You must also analyze the focus group.
Writeup
Your writeup must address the following points:
- Include the script you used for the focus group and any handouts you used (script and handouts do not count towards your page limit).
- Explain what you were trying to accomplish using this script/handouts.
- Who did you invite to the focus group why did you pick these people? Do not include their names. Focus on what kind of users they are and what part of your demographic do they represent.
- Basic facts about the focus group, how long did the session last, how did you record data, etc...
- How you analyzed the focus group and what the outcomes were.
- One paragraph reflection on the focus group you conducted. In your opinion what worked, what didn't, and how might you do it differently next time.
