Contextual Inquiry
You must conduct a contextual inquiry one student from your target demographic and analyze the interview.
Writeup
Your writeup must address the following points:
- What place (context) did the interview take place in?
- Any questions you prepared in advance should be included in an attachment (this does not count towards your page count). Contextual inquirys typically have less prepared questions than interviews. But you should still have some initial questions prepared to get you started.
- Who did you interview and why did you pick that person? Do not include their name. Focus on what kind of user they are and what part of your demographic do they represent.
- Basic facts about the interview, how long did the inquiry last, how did you record information from the interview, ect...
- How you analyzed the inquiry and what the outcomes were.
- One paragraph reflection on the contextual inquiry you conducted. In your opinion what worked, what didn't, and how might you do it differently next time.

The following resources are good places to start looking for guidance on conducting an interview. There are many good resources on conducting interviews, find the ones that fit your needs to best.
If you need to do interviews for your UG4 or MSc project I strongly recommend the book "Learning from Strangers: The Art and Method of Qualitative Interview Studies" by Robert S. Weiss.
