Most users now have home directories in AFS, and this page is intended to be a starting-point for anyone wishing to find out more about AFS - what it is, how it affects your environment, and how to use it. It contains pointers to other information sources (both local and elsewhere) which should help you to gain familiarity with AFS, its strengths, and its idiosyncracies.
