Personal Tutors
It is extremely important that you contact your PT to report any difficulties which are affecting your academic study as they occur and prior to the appropriate Board of Examiners meeting (at the end of the exam period and after project submission).
Your PT will advise on what support we can offer and makes sure that any appropriate measures are put in place in time for the Board of Examiners meeting/s (this is done in confidence). Information submitted after the completion of the Board of Examiners process can only be considered via a formal appeal which could result in lengthy delays to your study. If are aware of (or suspecting that you may suffer from) any disability that may impact your study, you should contact the Disability Office in order to be assessed by the relevant University panel. It is also advisable to inform the Year Organiser at the start of the course. Assessment takes some time, so you should notify us as soon as possible.
