Special Circumstances
We have been asked to remind students that Special Circumstances should be reported, as they occur, to you personal Tutor. If the Special Circumstances have adversely affected your progress with coursework, then your Personal Tutor will apply to the ITO for an extension, and I will determine the adjustment necessary.
Academic Misconduct (plagarism etc)
I have been asked by the School's Academic Misconduct Officer to remind you that Academic Misconduct is not accepted at Edinburgh University. The University regulations concerning all variants of Academic Misconduct can be read here. Some School of Informatics guidelines on what Plagarism is can be read here. I think the School of Informatics explanation is especially relevant in regard to the UG4/MInf project (though also to other coursework).
