Week 1 Lecture Arrangements for 2012/13

 

There are no Hons/MSc lectures from 0900-1100hrs on Monday 17th September 2012, to help accommodate the UG3 and UG4 introductory sessions. In order to avoid any confusion about when your Informatics lectures begin, please make sure that you have read (and understood) this page.

3rd Year Students (and Courses)

  • Introduction to UG3: There will be a short UG3 introductory lecture at 0900hrs on Monday 17th September 2012 in IF G.07.
  • Undergraduate Prizegiving: All UG3 and UG4 students are invited to attend the Undergraduate Prizegiving at 1.00pm on Wednesday 19th September 2012, in Mini Forum 2, 4th Floor, The Forum.  Refreshments will be served.  Prize sponsors include British Computer Society (BCS), Citigroup, Freescale, Google and Netcraft.

4th Year Students (and Courses)

  • Introduction to UG4: There will be a short UG4 introductory lecture at 1000hrs on Monday 17th September 2012 in IF G.07.
  • UG4 Careers Talk [Reviewing Your Career ]: All UG4 students are invited to attend this presentation, Wednesday 19th September 2012, 11.00am - 12pm, Lecture Hall C, David Hume Tower. 
  • Undergraduate Prizegiving: All UG3 and UG4 students are invited to attend the Undergraduate Prizegiving at 1.00pm on Wednesday 19th September 2012, in Mini Forum 2, 4th Floor, The Forum.  Refreshments will be served.  Prize sponsors include British Computer Society (BCS), Citigroup, Freescale, Google and Netcraft.

MSc Students (and Courses)

  • All MSc students should attend the 'Informatics Research Review & Informatics Research Proposal:  Introduction' lecture, to be held at 2pm on  Wednesday 19th September 2012 in Lecture Theatre 5, Appleton Tower.
