What are Performance and Development Reviews?
It has been agreed that a formal Performance and Development Review (P&DR) policy be developed at Corporate level within the University of Edinburgh. It is to be part of an over arching framework in support of the University’s commitment to embedding a positive performance culture which enables, encourages and recognises success and which is aligned with the University’s mission and goals.
P&DR will focus on performance for success and provide greater clarity for all staff on the focus of their contribution as well as support for professional and personal development.
Distinct processes are in place for individual staff groups.
