Description

This software allows scientists to carry out listening tests without having to write code. Instead, all settings can be written into an XML-based configuration file.

The following can be customised:

Examples are included, based on tests which I have carried out in my research.

Usage

  1. Prepare a test folder testFolder containing all your stimuli (textual and/or audio). The folder must contain a file "ratingtest.conf", which specifies all aspects of the test. Examples and instructions are in /group/contrib/nlp-speech/src/ratingtest/ratingtest-1.0/examples and README.txt
  2. Start the test:
    cd testFolder/..
    java -jar ratingtest.jar testFolder
15/02/2006 V.Strom: Made a script nlp-speech/bin/ratingtest that just does "java -jar $WHERE_IT_SITS/ratingtest.jar $argv[1]"
