This paper proposes a flexible workflow management framework that is capable of understanding domain knowledge and making use of it to assist complicated video image processing tasks. This approach is innovative, as image processing (IP) tasks are complicated, therefore often only specialised IP techniques are focused. This paper tackle IP tasks from a system point of view that potentially can aggregate and enhance different IP tools. So far not much work has been done for video processing, this framework, however, tries to use flexible and adaptive workflow techniques to tackle the difficult video processing problems.
