Call for Speakers

The Interdisciplinary Tea (IDT) is a weekly seminar series that serves as a forum for students and new researchers in Informatics and related disciplines who want to present their research to an interdisciplinary audience. The emphasis of the IDT is on non-technical, accessible talks in an informal atmosphere.

The IDT is currently looking for speakers for this term. If you're a postgraduate, postdoc or visiting researcher and have some work that you would like to present, and would appreciate some feedback on, then please contact us and volunteer!

All postgraduate students and new researchers in Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Psychology, Linguistics and Philosophy are invited to give talks. The IDT aims to foster student interaction throughout the School of Informatics and beyond, and provides an excellent opportunity for everyone to get feedback on their work, from researchers both within and outside their own subdiscipline.

If you would like to present your work at the Interdisciplinary Tea, please drop us an email. We're always looking for potential speakers, and it's an excellent opportunity to get feedback on your research or ideas.

The IDT talks take place:

Mondays, 4:00pm, Informatics Forum, G.07A

Organisers: Vera Demberg and Tom Kwiatkowski
