Student-led startup was named finalist in the Cambridge_MIT Business Creation Competition 2005
Linguit Ltd, the Edinburgh-based startup specialising in speech and language technology with a mobile focus, was named finalist in the Cambridge-MIT Business Creation Competition thisyear. The company, comprising PhD students from the University of Edinburgh's School of Informatics and the University of Cambridge's Machine Intelligence Laboratory has produced patent-pending technology that allows users to search for information from their mobile phones in a more convenient way using natural language. The team is actively looking for new team members with a strong degree of self-motivation and technical development skills (mobile technologies, natural language technology, speech recognition, and Internettechnologies). |
