2:30pm on 10 July 2008 in the Informatics ForumThe Informatics Graduate School invites all postgraduate research students to a very special event to welcome them to their new home, the Informatics Forum.
The event features an explosive presentation by Dr Bunhead, recently seen on TV's "Brainiac: Science Abuse", and will be followed by refreshments.
Further details will be available shortly but put this date in your diary now!
Exploding Informatics
TV's most extreme scientist, Dr Bunhead, attempts to explode the myths behind informatics and unravel its real meaning. Turning algorithms into explosions and finding the comedy in computation, he explores its value to society and why they couldn't care less.
This show features gratuitous scenes of a scientific nature and a haphazard collection of absurd, dramatic and dangerous demonstrations. Dr Bunhead will also set someone's head on fire.
