Number of Posts: 10 (1 TA and 9 tutors)
Description:
SDP is an exciting and challenging course for its students,
and also for its tutors. Each tutor mentors a team
of ten students that will design a robot to compete at soccer.
This is a great chance to develop your teaching potential.
The TA and each Tutor will do
- 1-2 hours demonstrating
per week for 10 weeks
- 5 hours coursework preparation (plus another 10 hours for
TA)
- 30 hours coursework marking
This post is paid at grade UE06,
currently upwards of £12.50/hr.
Total Hours: each
tutor will do approx 60-65hrs, whilst the TA is expected to do nearer
80hrs.
