What does the course cover: Standard ML programming, including
modules. See http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/~dts/ap
What special skills are needed: A fair degree of experience with SML,
including the module language.
How do you want to use the support: Students on this course have a
wide range of backgrounds. Some of them have significant trouble with
the material and need it to be explained in different ways and to have
their questions answered. Tutorial sessions are for answering
students' questions, and for solving exercises (provided by the tutor)
if there are no questions.
Total Hours: 1 contact hour (@tutor rate) and 2 hours preparation
(@ demo rate) per week,
plus marking three items of coursework (to be paid @demo rate)
